BEAUTIFUL RAINY DAY

BEAUTIFUL RAINY DAY

A lazy morning , a refreshing cup of coffee and light misty rain, a heavenly trio that unfailingly moistens the heart with the symphony of life.

THE RAIN COMPANION

THE RAIN COMPANION

Truly so beautiful is the rain that with its advent everything around looks beautiful, feels beautiful and it seems like life has started afresh. Really, there is something inexplicably miraculous about it. The lovely ambience that the rain creates kindles in us happiness, positivity and the best of all….music. May it come in its fierce form or come hooded with calmness it always stirs out a different musical note, a different tune. In fact rain has music in it in whichever form it comes.

Rain 'n' Music

Rain ‘n’ Music

Be it falling noisily on the asbestos sheets or with modest pats on cemented floors or shallow thuds on earth it exhibits a new flavour of sound every single time. It generates a myriad of notes akin to a variety of musical instruments. The clacking sound it makes on the asbestos roughly resembles the soulful beats of tabla and when these beautiful drops gracefully embrace the tiny puddles it seems like mother nature is playing the harmonious jaltarang. When the union of the two elements is witnessed, i.e. the water (rain) and the earth, it not only creates a gentle tune but also generates a sublime aroma which naturally augments our feel-good-hormones. The two elements are intermittently joined by the third element – the wind. Wind god plays his part in the divine orchestra by gently blowing through the curtain of falling droplets creating a melody analogous to the soothing lyre being played by the Muses.

Sound of Music

Sound of Music

The sound of the rain sure inspires music and its lovers, but the rain itself is so pious and pleasing that even the mere sight of the crystal beads obliging the earth with their blessed arrival effortlessly plays a gratifying note or two in the mind. It magically calms down the soul, as if playing a heavenly song, a divine composition which though unheard strikes a chord with the psyche. Unknown to us it silently blends with our innerselves, much the same as enlightened souls become one with divinity. And so lovely is this union, that the wonderful vibe it creates gently plays on the iktara of our very being, thus making life simply beautiful and better than ever.
